XCMG Aerial Work Platform and Rotary Drilling Rig Gain “Passport” to EU Markets

Recently, XCMG GKS28E heavy-duty aerial work platform successfully passed the CE certification and received the No. M6A110877202002 certificate issued by the Germany headquarters. The development and the launch of GKS28E symbolize that the aerial work platform will march into EU markets as one emerging industry of XCMG Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd.
To open the gate to EU markets for aerial work platform, XCMG Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. established the speical CE certification team since last April. Strictly in accordance with the EU technical regulations and the international advanced technical standards, the CE certification team made one series of improvements for the core technology of GKS28E product, including working range, boom derricking range, swing angle, and turntable swing radius and the product rapidly realized the technical breakthroughs, with the technical indexes reaching the international advanced level. The acqusition of the authoritative and internationally highly recognized CE certificate will not only guide the heading of this product series into the international market, but also exploit one new battlefield for XCMG’s objective of "100-billion revenue, world-class, and globalization".
Two leading products of XCMG Foundation Machinery Co., Ltd., XR280D and XR220D rotary drilling rigs, recently successfully passed the evaluation by Germany TÜV Rheinland Group and received the CE certificate on September 19, 2011.

XCMG Foundation Machinery Co., Ltd. established one special team this March. The team members carefully studied and learnt the CE certification requirements including mechanical directive, noise directive, emission directive, electromagnetic compatibility, and relevant standards and completed the drawing modifications, prototype build, prototype evaluation and testing, and data submission for these two products within half year. Two products finally gained the recognition by Germany TÜV Rheinland Group and acquired the CE certificate, which opened the gate of these products to EU market.
