On the morning of 9^th August, Tianjin SUNWARD Equipment Development Co., Ltd., which had been invested in more than 4.5 billion RMB（about 662 million dollars）, was put into operation in Tianjin Beichen Hi-tech Industrial Park. It will become the largest machinery manufacture base in north China. Tianjin SUNWARD Equipment Development Co., Ltd., which invested by Hunan Sunward Intelligent Machinery Co., Ltd., is a northern base and also the biggest subsidiary company for SUNWARD. SUNWARD Tianjin project is supported by Tianjin government, and finally settled in Beichen area. Tianjin SUNWARD will major in developing, manufacturing and operating products such as hoisting machinery, road machinery, construction machinery, environmental & sanitation machinery and other equipments. The whole project takes up 1850 mu ; values 4.5 billion yuan (about 662 million dollars), and its total covered area takes up 600 000m² while the first stage are anticipated with a area of 160 000m². The annual sales would over 10 billion yuan (about 1.47 billion dollors) and its profit after tax will up to 1000 million yuan (about 147 million dollors) after the base put into operation. Tianjin SUNWARD would strengthen the SUNWARD group, and more importantly, it's the strategy investment for SUNWARD growth.

Deputy Mayor Li warmly welcomed SUNWARD to invest in Tianjin, and congratulated the successfully construction of Tianjin SUNWARD Equipment Development Co., Ltd. He gave a presentation that he wishes SUNWARD quicken its Tianjin project construction, take the advantages of human resources, technology, brand and size, devote more into innovation to strength SUNWARD brand. He requested that departments in Beichen should continue supporting SUNWARD project, make the process of construction and operation earlier, get profit sooner and contribute in Beichen economy development.
