The “Global Engineering Machinery Manufacturers Top 50 List” released by the China Engineering Machinery magazine, was published in May 2011. XCMG, the leaders of China’s engineering machinery industry, ranked seventh, and continues to lead Chinese enterprises.

This is another leap for XCMG in the Global Top 50 List since it became the first Chinese enterprise to rank in the top 10 (ranking ninth).

These products represent the advanced technology of China and the world, they include; the 500 ton-class, 1000 ton-class and 1200 ton-class all-terrain truck cranes，2000 ton-class crawler crane, 12 ton-class large-duty loader (China largest), 88-meter altitude fire engine (Asia highest), and fourth generation intelligent field equipment. In 2010, XCMG made progress in improving their industry chain system and other areas. Years ago, XCMG with the world leading component manufacturers and established many joint stock companies. In 2010, the XCMG purchased two manufacturers which produce key components for developed countries and made them part of their own industry system to further strengthen and perfect their industry chain system. Therefore, the XCMG key component system has been enhanced and the component shortage problems which have plagued the industry will be solved. With the full operation of the engine manufacturing base jointly established with Doosan, a world leading engineering machinery manufacturer, XCMG provides the “engine” in this key cooperation and improves system integrity.

While improving the industry chain, XCMG has never neglected to reinforce its business arrangements. Based on its performance in the traditionally advantageous crane business, XCMG has currently become the runner-up in the global travelling crane industry. At the same time, XCMG is crowned as a leader yet again in the Chinese field equipment industry. In the competitive loader field, XCMG has overcome numerous blockades and greatly elevated its market position and influence. In order to consolidate the current advantages and at the same time create space for growth, XCMG has focused on traditional business and strategic business represented by excavator, concrete machinery and heavy-duty truck markets since 2010. XCMG has invested 5 billion Yuan to establish a huge crane manufacturing base, invested 3.3 billion Yuan to establish a large-duty loader concrete batch plant manufacturing base, excavator base and environmental sanitary machinery base.
