In order to express thanks to overseas distributors for their continuous support, XCMG held “ Change. Strength” - Dinner for and Annual Meeting of XCMG’s Overseas Distributors 2012 in Intercontinental Expo Hotel Shanghai on 28th November. Mr. Wang Min, president of XCMG and secretary of the party committee, Mr. Wang Yansong, vice president of XCMG Machinery and president of XCMG Import and Export Company, leaders of subsidiaries of XCMG and more than 300 representatives of more than 100 distributors gathered together to discuss future development plans.
Mr. Wang Min, president of XCMG and secretary of the party committee pointed out in his speech that although the current situation of China’s construction machinery is not positive, and the domestic market suffers a lot due to Euro crisis, XCMG remains to be a shining star in the international market. For instance, its self-run export between January and October reached $1.114 billion, increased by 51.36% over the previous year. Great breakthroughs have been made in both concrete machinery industry and crane machinery industry. In 2012, a critical year when XCMG aims to make its turnover exceed RMB 100 billion yuan, XCMG mobilizes all the employees, actively addresses the international situation, timely adjusts its international market strategy, deploys all the resources and channels, develops the global market and tries to double its turnover. So far, XCMG has established 15 overseas companies and has more than 110 primary overseas distributors, more than 220 secondary distributors, and more than 500 contract service providers so as to provide marketing service and after-sales service in an all-around way. XCMG’s products have been sold to more than 150 countries and regions in the world.
Mr. Wang Yansong, vice president of XCMG Machinery and president of XCMG Import and Export Company said in his speech that in this annual meeting, XCMG will focus on how to pass the concept and culture of XCMG to its distributors and how to strengthen the confidence and loyalty of XCMG’s overseas distributors so as to improve the turnover.
Mr. Liu Jiansen, assistant to the president of XCMG Machinery and general manger of XCMG Import and Export Company as well as other company leaders gave detailed explanation of XCMG’s international strategy, new products, service and components support policy, credit limit support policy, incentive policy for distributors, CRM system and overseas call center, etc to all the distributors.
In recent years, XCMG has not only made a great breakthrough in its scale and operation quality, but also become a leader in the path of internationalization. In 2011, XCMG set a historical record with its overseas turnover totaling $1.086 billion, becoming the first enterprise in China whose export exceeded $ 1 billion. Among these export projects, the total value of XCMG – Venezuela project is $744.6 million, marking the largest export order in the construction machinery industry of China. In 2012, with the goal of $1.6 billion export value, XCMG Import and Export company rose steadily against the trend by proactively optimizing the structure of export products and seeking new sales outlets. The export of XCMG concrete machinery exceeded RMB 450 million yuan with a-year-on-year increase of 100%, ranking No. 1 in the industry. New breakthrough was also made in XCMG’s all-terrain vehicle cranes. So far, the number of exported all-terrain cranes has already surpassed the total number of 2011.
At present, XCMG is speeding up in implementing the strategic layout of its global operation, accelerating the construction of overseas offices, gradually establishing overseas companies and plants in different regions of the world by studying the global market situation and thoroughly dividing marketing regions. A host of overseas industrial projects will be implemented soon, including XCMG East Europe Manufacturing Base, India Manufacturing Base, South Africa Manufacturing Base and Indonesia Manufacturing Base, etc, which will provide overseas distributors the greatest support in terms of technological service, repairs and maintenance, credit financing, customer communication and production promotion as well as display XCMG’s strong determination and great ambition to develop the overseas market.
It is a critical year for XCMG to achieve its “100 Billion Yuan Goal” in 2012.
