XCMG Brand Deeply Develops Sudanese market
July 23, 2013
In order to better tap Sudanese market, a series of marketing campaigns have been recently planned and launched jointly by Sudan office of XCMG group and its dealers, which greatly improves XCMG brand’s popularity in Sudan.
Sudan, located in the Northeastern part of Africa, is the third largest African country in size. It is also the key market in African region regarded by all major construction machinery brands. Since 2011, the market volume of construction machinery in Sudan has been declining in comparison with the previous years as the South and North Sudan continue to be split and South-North border dispute persists. The market is also greatly troubled by the problem of insufficient foreign currency. Amid the dilemma, AUTO COMPANY, XCMG group’s dealer in Sudan, rose to the challenge and increased investment. It firstly set up XCMG product store in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, at the beginning of this year; at the same time, many large advertisements for XCMG products were also put up in Khartoum and in Port Sudan to further enhance the advertising of XCMG products. At the beginning of March, XCMG excavators and bulldozers were firstly shown on Sudan Machinery Exhibition by XCMG group’s dealers. At the same time, full preparations are also being made for two large XCMG product promotion events, and it is expected that they will be held in Khartoum in July and in Port Sudan in August respectively.
The measures have significantly improved XCMG brand’s popularity and influence in Sudanese market, helping to realize the substantial increase of XCMG products’ share in Sudanese market. At the same time, XCMG group’s dealers in Sudan, amid the increase of XCMG products’ share in Sudanese market, also provides timely and efficient after-sale service for their customers by relying on the powerful service force established through many years, which better safeguards the word-of-mouth of XCMG brand and creates good conditions for XCMG brand to further deeply develop the Sudanese market. As is the above picture, large XCMG advertisements are put up along the road to airport in Khartoum.
