Cornerstone laying ceremony of construction project of XCMG Schwing Concrete Machinery Qian'an Co., Ltd. takes place

On October 18, the cornerstone laying ceremony of the construction project of XCMG Schwing Concrete Machinery Qian'an Co., Ltd. took place at Qian'an Western Industrial Zone. The four leading bodies of Qian'an City, industrial leaders, XCMG Chairman and Party Secretary Wang Min, major customers of XCMG Construction Machinery, XCMG's partners as well as a lot of journalists witnessed the moment of milestone significance.
XCMG's concrete machinery industry has developed for 26 years. Through independent R & D over the years, XCMG has been geared to international high-end technologies and developed all series of products including "truck, pump and plant". In 2012, XCMG Concrete Construction Machinery Industrial Base with an area of over 1,000 mu and a total investment of 2 billion yuan came on stream, thus bringing into being an industrial cluster of "three trucks and two plants" (concrete pump truck, concrete mixer truck, dry-mixed mortar truck, concrete mixing plant and dry-mixed mortar mixing plant), accomplishing the structural upgrading and capacity improvement of XCMG's concrete machinery industry, and releasing the energy accumulated by XCMG in the concrete machinery field over the years. Since 2010, the performance of XCMG's concrete machinery sector has redoubled for three straight years, with its export growth coming out on top in the industry. Remarkably, the successful integration with Schwing in July 2012 made XCMG the world's best, most influential and valuable complete concrete equipment supplier and integrated solution provider.
The construction project of XCMG Schwing Concrete Machinery Qian'an Co., Ltd. marks a breakthrough of XCMG in stepping up the process of its concrete machinery sector to accomplish all-round and leapfrog development. With a total investment of 1 billion yuan and an area of 270 mu, the project is constructed in two phases. After coming on stream, Phase 1 will form an annual output of 500 concrete mixing plants and 5,000 concrete mixer trucks, reserving production capacity for other concrete machines. The project will increase XCMG's annual sales by about 2 billion yuan. The building and operation of the base will step up the process of industrialization, expansion and benefit orientation of XCMG's concrete machinery sector, thus creating an industrial pattern radiating regions like Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan, northeast China and eastern Inner Mongolia, and laying a solid foundation for achieving the goal of sharing the market with XCMG's key opponents at home and abroad.
Wang delivered an ebullient speech at the ceremony, saying the cornerstone laying of the project is of far-reaching significance to XCMG, Qian'an and the concrete equipment industry. XCMG is China's first enterprise which has fully entered the concrete machinery industry, XCMG has owned tremendous technical and cultural deposits after over 20 years of development, and developed the confidence and strength in becoming a world top enterprise. In the "twelfth five-year" period, XCMG will continue increasing its investment in the concrete machinery sector to achieve all-round breakthroughs in scale, strength, product and market. He hoped that XCMG Schwing would take the opportunity of base construction to integrate and employ Qian'an's unique geographical location and advantage in industrial support, quicken the development of XCMG's concrete machinery sector, further achieve a fast breakthrough in "height, displacement and intelligenization", and truly assume the heavy duties of serving the world, going global and becoming a world top enterprise.
