XCMG, with Strong Passion to China’s Spaceflight Undertaking, Escorts Chang’e-5 Flight Tester to the Launching Site

On August 10, a flight tester, which is used to perform China’s Lunar Exploration Program III’s reentry return flight test mission, was transported from Beijing to Xichang Qingshan Airport, and then to Xichang Satellite Launch Center. After that, relevant tests and experiments would be made step by step.
In front of China Academy of Space Technology’s main gate, a stream of transporting and hoisting fleet escorted the exceedingly precise aerospace instruments and drove forwards steadily. Of which, the flight tester for Chang’e-5 Lunar Probe was the leading role, and it is used in testing if the spacecraft can return from the lunar orbit and land at scheduled position. The said test is viewed as the most important experiment of 2017 when Chang’e-5 lunar probe will be launched for unmanned sampling and return.
Due to this, those escorting and hosting vehicles are prudentially singled out this time, and most of them ever took part in significant engineering transport projects like Tiangong-1 and Chang’e-3 etc.. That is in an effort to ensure no risk at every escorting link. In particular, XCMG crane assumed the responsibility of hoisting the flight tester, and assured the flight tester’s safety during the transfer.
