SDLG launches two new product lines in Indonesia
October 08, 2014SDLG has grown to become Indonesia’s leading Chinese brand of construction equipment thanks to reliable products and dependable aftermarket support – so to meet growing demand from the road construction and palm oil sectors, SDLG will launch a backhoe loader and soil compactor this month.
Shandong Lingong Machinery Co., Ltd (known as Lingong) is China’s fastest growing construction equipment manufacturer, and its range of SDLG wheel loaders, motor graders and excavators have proven popular in Indonesia, where it is now the market leader.

PT Indotruck Utama (ITU) covers Sumatra, Java, Nusa Tenggara and Papua, while PT Intraco Penta Prima Servis covers Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Maluku. Together the experienced heavy equipment distributors have a strong network of sales and service centers, strategically located across the Indonesian archipelago. In addition, Lingong opened a new parts warehouse in Singapore this August to speed up parts delivery to its customers across South East Asia. This dependable network is reaping its own rewards as customer numbers grow and demand increases for SDLG machinery, particularly in the road building and palm oil sectors.
To offer customers more choice, Lingong is launching the SDLG RS8140 soil compactor and the SDLG B877 backhoe loader to the Indonesian market. The soil compactor features the same powerful and efficient second generation Weichai Deutz engine as the most popular wheel loader models – the SDLG LG936L and LG938L.
“Our customers whose fleets include more than one type of construction equipment are keen to add new units that share common parts with their existing equipment,” explains Jurn. “We have already secured one order for a soil compactor because the customer has SDLG wheel loaders and is happy that consumable parts and engine components will be the same across his fleet.”
The RS1840 also features a transmission with three forward and three reverse gears, together with 30% gradeability. SDLG machines are easy to maintain – and the simple design features easy access to service areas. The cabin is equipped with air conditioning, a modern digital display unit and easy-to-use controls.
The SDLG B877 backhoe loader has a rated power output of 71 kW and can lift 1,800 kg. With a 1 m3 frontbucket and a maximum dumping height of 2.7 m, the machine can load quickly and efficiently on any job site. Its Weichai Deutz WP4G95E211 engine is turbo-charged, but offers low emissions and low fuel consumption with a 20% torque reserve. The versatile machine also offers a rear digging bucket that can rotate 200° and is ideal for digging in narrow spaces.
SDLG’s range of construction equipment is produced in Lingong’s state-of-the-art 1 million m2 manufacturing facility in Linyi, Shandong Province, China.
