SDLG sells first wheel loader in Timor-Leste following new dealer signing
October 15, 2014Leading Chinese construction equipment brand, SDLG, continues to expand its global sales and service network with Tjing Fa Ho named as its authorized distributor, service provider and original parts supplier for Timor-Leste.
The Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste (known as East Timor) is located in Southeast Asia and its government has announced a 20-year strategic development plan to improve infrastructure. This has led to increased demand for good quality, reliable machinery, so Chinese manufacturer Shandong Lingong Machinery Co., Ltd. (known as Lingong) will sell, via its newly signed distributor Tjing Fa Ho, its SDLG-branded wheel loaders, motor graders and backhoe loaders.
Tjing Fa Ho was appointed to represent the SDLG brand in July 2014 and the company has made its first sale to Mira-Mar Bloco. The SDLG LG936L wheel loader unit will be used in road construction projects and for support work during concrete block fabrication.

SDLG’s range of construction equipment is produced in Lingong’s state-of-the-art 1 million m2 manufacturing facility in Linyi, Shandong Province, China. Tjing Fa Ho will be selling and supporting SDLG LG918, LG936L and LG956L wheel loaders, SDLG G9190 motor graders and SDLG B877 backhoe loaders in Timor-Leste and Lingong will continue to launch its range of SDLG products in this important market to meet customer demand.
One of the main focuses of construction work in the country will be on improving links for the 70% of the population that live in rural areas. The work will involve rehabilitating existing roads and building new ones, including a national two-lane ring road. In addition, investment will be put into building a major sewerage collection system in the country’s capital, Dili, and installing water systems and community latrines in rural areas to give all citizens access to clean water and improved sanitation. To improve international trade links, new sea ports will be constructed and the existing Presidente Nicolau Lobato Airport will be expanded to meet international standards.
