On January 21, the launching ceremony of the "Blue Dream" Special Charity Fund jointly initiated by XCMG and the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA) was held in Beijing. In the 5th China Charity Festival and "Because of Love" 5th Anniversary Tribute Ceremony, Han Bing, XCXG Deputy General Manager, Xu Xiaohui, Assistant General Manager, and Wang Hangzui, CFPA Vice President jointly launched the XCMG "Blue Dream" Special Charity Fund. XCMG became the focus of the festival for its promise to donate 1.85 million Yuan. At the same time, with the outstanding contribution to public service and sense of social responsibility, XCMG won the "Five Years Special Tribute Award", the highest award in the festival.

XCMG "Blue Dream" Special Charity Fund is an important measure of implementing the global targeted charity projects, and a new platform for its public welfare undertakings. Based on the previous achievements, XCMG works closely with all partners, integrates public welfare resources at home and abroad, normalizes operation modes, and accurately targets rural left-behind children and rural teachers in minority poverty areas and poor residents in the drought areas of Africa. The fund is supposed to carry out three projects including "Blue Dream for Children", "Micro Aspiration at Hope Primary School”, and “Well in Africa”, committing to solving the problems of education and solicitude for left-behind children in poverty-stricken minority areas, improving the living standard of rural teachers and enhancing their professional quality, and constructing small scale water conservancy facilities to collect rainwater in Ethiopia to enhance their ability to fight against natural disasters. Also, the fund is an innovative public service platform. In addition to fund donation, XCMG will integrate mechanical engineering professional skill training and the comprehensive quality lift of youth, hoping to cultivate talents for global engineering machinery industry. It not only corresponds to the national targeted poverty alleviation strategy, but also demonstrates XCMG’s charity brand connotation of "XCMG makes a better world ".

As a joint initiator, CFPA is one of China's most influential charity organizations. Its “Substitute Mother Program”, jointly initiated by Sichuan Youth League Committee, Sichuan Leading Group of Care for Left Behind Students, and China Welfare Research Institute of Beijing Normal University, has made left behind children open their hearts. For the cooperation with XCMG, Vice President Wang Hangzui is full of anticipation: "we are honored to cooperate with the leading enterprises in engineering machinery in China.
