On April 14, 2016, at Munich local time 18:00, ESTA annual awards ceremony held in Munich. Mr. Liu Jiansen, assistant president of XCMG and general manager of XCMG Import & Export Co. Ltd., was invited to attend the award ceremony and XCMG was the only Chinese enterprise invited.

ESTA, full name as the "European Association of Heavy Haulage Transportat and Mobile Cranes", was founded in 1967 and currently has more than 60 high-end members from 18 countries, including the international construction machinery brands such as Liebherr, Terex, Manitowoc and XCMG. ESTA only accepts European enterprises in principle, but in 2016, XCMG has been exceptionally allowed to join the association, which is the only Chinese enterprise allowed to join the association.
