The 17th Russian International Construction and Engineering Machinery Exhibition (CTT) was opened ceremoniously at CRUCOS Exhibition Center, Moscow from May 31, 2016 to June 4, 2016. This exhibition is the construction and engineering machinery exhibition of the largest scale and influence in Russia, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe region. For 8 years consecutively, Shantui attended this exhibition with its exhibit machinery products, including bulldozer, roller, motor grader, and loader. In the first day of exhibition, three exhibit machinery products were sold on the exhibition site.

In the first day of exhibition, Shantui’s exhibition stand received many exhibition visitors, who were greeted by Shantui's Russian dealer and the business personnel of Shantui (Russia) Company.

The Chairman and the General Manager of Shantui Import & Export Company Cheng Zhaohong attended this exhibition and held in-depth talks with the relevant person in charge of Public Joint Stock Company Gazprom (Gazprom). Gazprom immediately determined the procurement intention.

In addition, Mr. Cheng also received the Shantui dealers and customers from the surrounding area of Russia and held targeted communication and exchange on the exploration and development of the regional market in 2016.

In recent years, Russian Government is developing with great efforts the constructions in the infrastructure, transport, housing, and petroleum industries. In the next 10 years, Russian Government will double the road construction demand in Russia and take the development and construction in the Far East and the Pacific region as the top priority. To solve the rigid demand of Russian residents on the housing conditions, Russian Government attached high attention to the implementation of housing construction project. As of 2016, the Russian housing area under construction will hit 100,000,000m2 and will grow at a yearly rate of 50%. The housing area completed the planned 70,000,000m2 in 2013, is expected to hit 90,000,000m2 in 2015, and will hit 100,000,000m2 in 2016. The 2018 Football (Soccer) World Cup will be held in Russia and is expected to be held in 11 cities. The Russian Government planned to invest Ruble 440 billion budget in the constructions of roads, infrastructures, and ports and will increase the investment in the construction of other fields in the future.
