Media Professionals Show Art Style at SEM Media Day
September 10, 2016With the approaching of the Mid-Autumn Day, SEM Marketing team hosted the Media Day Activity in Beijing Caterpillar Tower. “This is the first time we host the guests at our home. We want to take this opportunity to thank the media for their long-time accompany and support, and share some good news with friends here”, Caterpillar (Qingzhou) Ltd. The good news Pablo mentioned is the launch of the SEM brand new logo. The SEM brand joined the Caterpillar family in 2008 and has quickly become one of the most important product brands for Caterpillar to win in the utility market. To further enhance the SEM brand, Caterpillar and its Brand Council approved the endorsement “SEM - A Caterpillar Brand”. The endorsement will be added onto the bottom of SEM logo effective immediately.
Different from previous media activities, on this SEM Brand Media Day, the media invited get together and draw oil paintings. The media are divided into four groups including Wheel Loader, Motor Grader, TTT and Soil Compactor Groups, and competed with each other.
Thus, all the professional journalists became post-impressionist masters. Instead of drawing landscape or beauty, they drew the Wheel Loader, Motor Grader, TTT and Soil Compactor machines to show their deep love to the industry. The pictures showed us vivid images of the machines.
All participants showed their enthusiasm and had fun. As one journalist commented, “It’s a very impressive activity. This is the first time I study the machinery structure so carefully to draw it right. Thanks to the SEM brand for providing such a fantastic event.”
