On September 12, a team led by Frank Mayer, the Mayor of Krefeld, Germany came to XCMG. Chairman Wang Min of XCMG met with members of the German delegation. Both sides communicated on investment conditions of XCMG in Krefeld and had an in-depth and pleasant communication on further cooperation. Then the German delegation visited hoisting machinery division and excavating machinery division. Such personnel as Deputy General Manager Li Suoyun of XCMG, President Zhao Bin of XCMG Research Institute, and head of XCMG European Research Center attended the meeting. 

Krefeld is a city in Nordrhein-Westfalen in the west of Germany. Its population is about 250,000. It is Germany’s silk weaving industry and velvet production center. On July 6, 2012, Xuzhou and Krefeld established friendly relations to promote exchange and cooperation in such fields as economy, science and technology. Since 2011, XCMG has wholly owned FT company in Krefeld and invested into the construction of XCMG European headquarters, XCMG European R&D center and XCMG European procurement center. 

Chairman Wang Min expressed warm welcome to the team led by Frank Mayer, and expressed gratitude to Krefeld for its strong support and high-efficient service for XCMG to invest and develop in Germany. He said craftsmen’s spirit of Germany is admirable and is worth learning. Then he talked about investment conditions of XCMG in Germany, and said that all business units have developed well and XCMG will keep strengthening business development in Germany. 

Frank Mayer said that investment and development of XCMG in Krefeld has great significance because it has promoted economic business development and promoted integration of Chinese and German culture. Entry of XCMG makes Krefeld feel proud. Krefeld has always attached much importance to the development of XCMG in Germany and will further provide strong support for XCMG in Germany.
