Shenyang metro line 3 phase I project starts

On December 28, 2019, the construction ceremony of the first phase of shenyang metro line 3 was held at datong hu street station of shenyang metro, marking the official entry of the first phase of shenyang metro line 3!

The first phase of shenyang metro line 3 is the first line with elevated stations in shenyang metro, with a total length of 41.27km and 30 stations. In the east of shenyang ring expressway, underground line is laid, and 21 underground stations are set up. There will be a car park, a rolling stock depot and three main substations. The control center will be Shared with line 10. It is expected to be completed and open to traffic in 2025.

The first phase of shenyang metro line 3 is the east-west backbone line in the south of the city center, which establishes the connection between the traditional core area and the western and eastern areas of the city. After the construction of metro line 3 begins, there will be major changes in the pattern of subway network in shenyang:

3 lines in operation, namely line 1, line 2 and line 9;

The three lines under construction are line 4, line 2 south extension line and line 3.

The three lines planned for construction in the near future are the east extension line of line 9, line 6 and line 1

Nanjing metro line 6 starts construction today

On December 28, the metro line 6 project, another main line running through the south and north of the main urban area of nanjing (excluding gangzi village station and adjacent sections), was officially started. After completion, the metro line 6 will be connected with the nanjing metro line S1 (airport line), greatly facilitating the public's travel.

On October 18 this year, the development and reform commission of jiangsu province issued an approval document on the feasibility study report of the metro line 6 project (excluding gangzi village station and adjacent sections, which will be subject to relevant approval procedures after the approval of the revised general regulation of zhongshan scenic spot). The subway line 6 under construction is 28.05 km long and has 18 underground stations.
