Same day，Yang Yihang, Commercial Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia、Li Jingchen, Country Manager of East Africa Region of XCMG、Representatives of local government departments、Yin Qian, Director of Ethiopia Office of China Rural Development Foundation、Representatives of beneficiary farmers、Nearly 90 representatives of teachers and students from beneficiary schools attended the ceremony.。

“African Cellar Project”Is XCMG aimed at the long-term drought in Ethiopia, an African country?、Lack of clean water and other issues，Jointly initiated with the China Rural Development Foundation“Hematopoiesis”Global Public Good Assistance Project。

Since 2016，“African Cellar Project”Already in the Ethiopian state of Euromia、Amhara State、Construction of 161 household water cellars in Southern State and other regions，Benefiting more than 12000 people。

2024，The fifth phase of the water cellar project was officially launched，Conducted in the Duquesne region of Euromia，Construction of 40 aboveground water cellars for 38 drought-affected rural households and a public primary school。
